City trip to Gouda

As we’ve mentioned before, this CSinterklaas we’ll also have some city tours for you to enjoy!

One of the advantages of going to the Netherlands, is that most major cities are really close to each other, this makes branching out to a new place so easy and enjoyable. Our spotlight today is on the Friday 24-11 city trip to Gouda.

Famous for it’s cheese, Gouda is a famous city in the Netherlands close to Rotterdam. Marcel will show you around it’s historic center (the city dates from the 12th century!) and show you all it has to offer!

This city tour has two meeting points! To travel from Rotterdam, meetup at the Hema at Rotterdam Central Station to take an 18 minute train ride to Gouda, make sure to be at the station in time!

If you are already in or around Gouda, you can also meet up with the group from 12.30 at the Gouda train station!

Train tickets are around €10 for a return ticket and can be bought online (www.ns.nl), or at the station. If you go with a larger group, it is advised you coordinate to buy a group-ticket (“groepsretour”) which will be worth it if you have 7 (€8,93 per return) to 10 (€7 per return) people in your group.
